چکیده
This letter presents a low-noise implementation of the switched-capacitor (SC) DC servo loop (DSL) in capacitively-coupled chopper instrumentation amplifier (CCIA). The noise SC integrator DSL is first analyzed, then low duty-cycle subsampling and unbalanced capacitor ratio are proposed to reduce noise. Fabricated 65 nm CMOS process, CCIA achieves 2.5 μVrms input-referred noise, integrated from 0.5 Hz 250 Hz, 110 mV electrode-DC offset cancellation range. Besides, calculated well matches measured, which proves analysis. Compared with prior designs adopting similar integrators, this work reduces level by 2x increases range 2x. article protected copyright. All rights reserved

Low Power Low Noise CMOS Chopper Amplifier
AbstractChopping is a proficient way to reduce the low frequency offset and 1/f noise in amplifiers. In this paper, a low power low noise CMOS chopper amplifier is presented. It is composed of a two stage amplifier. The first stage’s high output impedance and the equivalent Miller capacitance of the second stage constitute together a low pass filter, which reduces the power consumption. The cir...
متن کاملA 1V Supply Low Noise CMOS Amplifier Using Noise Reduction Technique of Autozeroing and Chopper Stabilization
A low-noise CMOS amplifier operating at a 1-V supply voltage is developed using the two noise reduction techniques of autozeroing and chopper stabilization. The proposed amplifier utilizes a feedback with virtual grounded input-switches and a multiple-output switched op-amp. The low-noise amplifier fabricated by a 0.18-μm CMOS technology was measured at a 1-V power supply, and achieved low nois...

In this paper, a new design of concurrent dual-band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for multi-band single-channel Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers is proposed. This new structure is able to operate concurrently at frequency of 1.2 and 1.57 GHz. Parallel and series resonance parts are employed in the input matching in order to achieve concurrent performance. With respect to used pse...
متن کاملA current noise reduction technique in chopper instrumentation amplifier for high-impedance sensors
A current noise reduction technique in chopper instrumentation amplifier (CIA) for high-impedance sensor is presented. The proposed technique is based on a time gating method to reduce time varying shot noise which is induced by channel charge injection of chopper switch transistors. An implemented CIA with the proposed time gating technique achieves more than 80-% noise reduction capability.

This paper is based on analysis of a common source - common gate low noise transconductance amplifier (CS-CG LNTA). Conventional noise analyses equations are modified by considering to the low output impedance of the sub-micron transistors and also, parasitic gate-source capacitance. The calculated equations are more accurate than calculated equations in other works. Also, analyses show that th...
